Policies and Spa Etiquette
We require a 24 hour notice for the cancellation of any appointment. In the case of not showing up for your appointment or same day cancellation, you will be charged 50% of the value of the appointment as a courtesy to the service provider.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment in order to fill out any necessary paperwork and to give yourself some relaxation time. Showing up late may affect the total time of your appointment.
We ask that if you bring children into the Spa, to please try to keep their voices down as much as possible, out of respect for clients receiving treatments behind closed doors. The Spa is very small and sound travels everywhere, so you may also be asked to lower your voice and to turn your cell phone off or to ‘vibrate’ while in the Spa. We thank you for especially lowering your voice in the entrance and reception lounge areas.
Product Home Care
In keeping with full client care, your service provider will suggest products for at home maintenance.
For body treatments you will be asked to undress, but will always be properly draped with a top sheet or towel. Keeping underwear on is an option, and for spa treatments if you are not comfortable without underwear, please bring an extra pair, or wear a bathing suit bottom.
If you are receiving a body polish please do not shave/wax your legs within 8 hours before your treatment.
Gratuities and GST
Leaving a gratuity is always appreciated but never expected. As in all service-related industries, it is common to leave a gratuity when satisfied with the service. Gift certificates generally do not have a gratuity included in the amount, so any gratuity is left to the discretion of the client redeeming the gift certificate.
GST will be added to all prices on the spa menu.
Gift Certificates are available for purchase in any denomination or for any service. In the case of a phone-in purchase, we will ask for your credit card number and then can email out the gift certificate to either yourself or to the receiver, or we can hold it for them to pick up. We also have a wide variety of retail product, including some great gift ideas to combine with a gift certificate or just on their own.
Please don’t hesitate to give your service provider feedback as to pressure, temperature and comfort level. We have many different music playlists, so if the music isn’t suiting you, please let us know and we will change it to better suit your taste.
